COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The safe, efficient, accurate draw to first hit may be one of the most important skills you need in order to prevail in a use of force encounter–and it’s far more possible than you think.  Building confidence on the range in everyday carry and home defense starts with developing competence in our ability to rapidly deploying the pistol, getting precise hits, and running the gun well.  In this course we’ll break down the whys and the hows so you can understand what will work best for you and we’ll give you skills you can work on at home to improve your draw to first hit speed and grow confidence.  When assailants outweigh or outnumber you a firearm can help level the playing field but only if you’re able to get the gun into the fight rapidly, efficiently, and safely.  IMPORTANT:  The course fee includes the $10 per person range fee–we do this as a courtesy so you’ll have one less thing to think of on class day.  

This course is ideal for all levels of shooter.

WHAT TO BRING:

• a quality, recently lubricated pistol
• enough magazines or pockets to complete 30 rounds of fire when you come to the line
• good quality, safe Kydex holster specifically designed for your pistol model
• 100 to 125 rounds of quality ammunition for your pistol
• eye & ear protection
• clothing and footwear to keep you comfy–we’ll train rain or shine
• food & drink to keep you going on the range

LEAD TRAINER, KAERY DUDENHOFER:
Kaery Dudenhofer is a full-time firearm and self-protection trainer from the Pacific Northwest.  She has trained under some of the most respected and recognized leaders in the self-defense training community to guide responsible citizens through the complex legal, moral, and social issues concerning the use of force in self protection as well as help citizens learn to select, safely store, integrate, and utilize both less-lethal and lethal life-saving tools.  In addition to teaching responsible citizens to protect themselves and those they love, Kaery also works as a court approved expert witness and consulting specialist for civilian defensive uses of force.  Kaery and her husband Eric have been married for 30 years and are the grateful (and often exhausted) parents of 7 kiddos.  Away from the range and classroom Kaery enjoys time with her family — conquering the laundry pile, cooking for 5 teenagers, glamping, reading, reviewing notes from previously attended training courses, and just about anything involving the lake.
